Organizers at South by Southwest conference (SXSW) in Austin canceled a concert for “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon” in-house band, The Roots, after local police received a bomb threat for the event.
The cancellation was announced late Saturday night on the SXSW Twitter page and by the concert’s sponsor, Bud Light. The bomb threat came a week after three package bombs detonated in Austin neighborhoods, killing two people and injuring two others.

According to a statement from Austin PD, event organizer Live Nation Entertainment received the bomb threat at 4:23 p.m. on Saturday afternoon. Approximately seven hours later, police identified the suspect, 26-year-old Trevor Ingram, and arrested him on charges of terroristic threat. No broader security threat has been found.

“No one is Mr ‘show must go on’ than me,” tweeted The Roots drummer Questlove. “But we can’t risk our lives if we are told there was a bomb threat. I’m sure we will return to Austin ladies and gentlemen. Thanks for understanding.”
