As improbable as it may seem, apparently there are still some people out there who haven’t seen “Black Panther” yet.
“Jimmy Kimmel Live!” took it to the street on Friday’s episode for a Lie Witness News segment that asked the public to weigh in on the crisis in Wakanda — the fictional African country that serves as the setting for the film.
Perhaps not surprisingly, people had strong feelings about the entirely nonexistent crisis.

“I think we need a strong presence there,” one man responded, when asked if U.S. troops should be pulled out of the make-believe country. “I definitely support our troops, so if they’re in Wakanda, I think they have a reason to be there.”
On the isolationist side of things, one woman asserted, “I think we should resolve our own problems first, especially with what’s going on in the government.”
Yet another citizen-on-the-street weighed in on the Twitter war between President Trump and King T’Challa.

“I think it’s good, because in this state, bad publicity is good publicity for some people,” he offered. “So as long as people are watching, as long as people are tuning in, you know what I’m saying, somebody is getting paid somewhere.”
