‘Dancing With the Stars’ Tour Bus in Fatal Crash on Snowy Iowa Highway

A “Dancing with the Stars” tour bus was involved in a massive crash involving dozens of cars on a snow-covered stretch of 1-35 near Ames, Iowa on Monday.
At least one person was killed and five others were sent to the hospital according to Iowa’s KCCI. DWTS crew and cast suffered only minor injuries, though tonight’s performance of “Dancing with the Stars: Live! Light Up The Night” in Ames was canceled.
“One of the tour buses transporting cast and crew of Dancing with the Stars: Live! Light Up The Night was involved in a multi-car accident this afternoon due to bad weather while en route to Ames, Iowa,” ABC said in a statement provided to US Weekly. “All cast and crew members are fine, with some recovering from minor injuries.”

“Given this unforeseen accident, and the fact that the safety and health of our cast and crew is of the utmost importance, tonight’s show at Stephens Auditorium in Ames, IA has been cancelled. To anyone involved in the accident, the entire cast sends their best wishes for a speedy recovery, and their deepest apologies to all of the fans who have been waiting to see the show tonight. Information regarding rescheduling and/or refunds will be available soon.”
Story County, Iowa Sheriff’s Department told KCCI that more than 70 cars were involved in the crash, which occurred following a severe snowstorm, and that the pile-up was exacerbated by cars entering the highway and colliding with existing accidents.

Viall is a former contestant on “The Bachelor,” and he’s probably hoping he’s not sent home heartbroken… again.

Erika Jayne
Age: 45
Partner: Gleb Savchenko
Jayne has nine No. 1 hits on the Dance Club song chart as of 2016. She may have the moves, but will she get the votes?

Mr. T
Age: 64
Partner: Kym Herjavec
Judging from his break dancing moves, we pity the fool who has to dance with Mr. T.

Bonner Bolton
Age: 29
Partner: Sharna Burgess
As a professional bull rider and country fashion icon, Bolton should have the dexterity to dance. But his popularity among fans may not pan out.

Age: 65
Partner: Keo Motsepe
Charo has a long history as a flamenco dancer. Cuchi-Cuchi!

Rashad Jennings
Age: 31
Partner: Emma Slater
This veteran NFL running back most recently played for the New York Giants. But will he show that same fancy footwork on the dance floor?

Normani Kordei
Age: 20
Partner: Valentin Chmerkovskiy
Kordei is a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony, which formed on “The X-Factor.” (But they only finished in third on that show.)

Chris Kattan
Age: 46
Partner: Witney Carson
He has the head-bobbing down pat. The “SNL” alum has a chance if he gets back to his “Night at the Roxybury” roots.

Heather Morris
Age: 30
Partner: Maksim Cherkovskiy
This “Glee” actress, singer and dancer has a jazz dance background and was even a backup dancer for Beyonce.

David Ross
Age: 39
Partner: Lindsay Arnold
The now-retired “Grampa Rossy” just won the World Series as a catcher for the Chicago Cubs. His dance moves on “SNL” weren’t the best, but Cub fans will probably be voting for him in droves.

Nancy Kerrigan
Age: 47
Partner: Artem Chigventsev
Kerrigan is a world champion and Olympian figure skater. And she’ll probably still dazzle sans skates.

Simone Biles
Age: 19
Partner: Sasha Farber
She’s one of the best, most athletic Olympian gymnasts in history and a front-runner to win it all.
